Our Story

Fourteen years of helping people buy and sell horse property in Eastern Washington and Northern Idaho.

Spokane Horse Properties started in 2012 with a simple idea: horse property is hard to find on typical real estate sites. So we built one place for it, and we’ve been finding, listing and showcasing horse properties for sale in Eastern Washington, and now Northern Idaho, ever since.

We’re not real estate agents. We’re an advertising site and a directory of Horse Property Specialists: the best brokers in each area for acreage, barns and everything that comes with them. If we don’t have it on our site, they can find it for you.

The Inland Northwest has changed a lot since 2012. But the biggest treasure here is still the landscape, and you never have to travel far for a beautiful place to ride.

Timeline

Opening the gate

The first listings went up in July 2012: a 5-acre homesite in Greenacres, a "perfect barn," and 10.4 acres of waterfront horse property on Deer Creek. Even then, the point was simple: horse property is hard to find on ordinary real estate sites.

The white fence years

A white post-and-rail fence across the top of every page, the name in italic lettering, forest green and barn brown. And the hand-made banners: "Big Barns!", "Indoor Arenas!", "Pastures!", with a red "SOLD!" stamped across the ones that went.

Big barns & indoor arenas

The scrapbook era. Every banner was lettered by hand over a real Inland Northwest property, the kind of place horse people dream about.

Specialists & Northern Idaho

We expanded across the state line into Northern Idaho and started the Horse Property Specialists directory: brokers in each area who know wells, water rights, fencing and zoning.

Same ranch, new barn

A rebuilt site that brings back the fence, the italic name, the hooves and the SOLD! stamp, with real search by acreage, barn and pasture, and pages that work beautifully on a phone.
